thats bunk, anytime that we comment, our names are out there for everyone to see. Especially when we comment in the "Whats your oppo username" thats like a Rolodex of a whole 8 people!

I think it's more of a promotion tool to tell Facebook there is a feeder for Jalopnik that's fun and more open. Judging by my user name, I'm not hiding anything online, but that's because I have an independent life blog.

So, if you "Like" the page, it'll pop up on your newsfeed and spread the word and keep you updated on the interesting posts. You don't have to comment on the Facebook group to support it. Unless your Facebook friends know your Kinja name, they'll never find you on here just because you "Liked" the Facebook group. And, actually, the Admins for Facebook groups can't look up a list and see everyone who has "Liked" their page. Some random people who have liked it (maybe 20 people each time they log in), yes, but they can't actually see who is behind the numbers or even look that up. I run a group for my business, my mother's business, and my own blog and I can't see everyone who is in those groups.

I've already had the page liked since day 1, even had my car in the header. Just saying, its not 100% anonymous, not that that bothers me.

as long as you dont comment in that thread it would be very hard to figure out who you are unless you have similar profile pictures. You cant go search the list of likes unless you are an admin though
